One of my favorite quotes that gives me motivation and inspiration is “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change”. Using this quote helped me utilize the many ways someone can change their perception. 

This project was based on the subject of perception and the multitude of ways a person can look at something. Using a mousetrap, I used several different angles and even envisioned myself as a mouse to gather the views that I did. To make the illustration interesting, the use of bold black and white contrast as well as shapes and patterns keep the eye wandering creating a sense of motion.
